Operating modes

Not every task deserves the same workflow depth.

Control depth is the operator choice between speed and evidence. Orcho exposes fast, team and governed postures so low-risk work can stay light while cross-system or high-risk work gets gates, handoff and final acceptance.

fast

Use fast posture for bounded work.

fast keeps the loop short when the task is narrow, the blast radius is small and the evidence requirement is low.

team

Use team posture when work crosses ownership.

team adds clearer plans, review contracts and shared evidence so another engineer can pick up the run without reading every token.

governed

Use governed posture when decisions must be explicit.

governed routes through stronger gates, human handoff, retry feedback, halt, resume and final_acceptance for work that needs traceability.
